The DM is not where you suddenly become a salesperson. It is where attention becomes context, context becomes understanding, and the right next step becomes easier to see.

A person can notice you without wanting what you sell. They can want it without trusting it. They can trust it without being ready to act.
The work is understanding what the person is actually deciding, what remains unresolved, and whether your offer is relevant to that decision.
Intent is yours. Interpretation belongs to them.
Treat the objection as data, not a verdict.
Make the decision easier, not the person weaker.

The goal isn't to force a yes. It's to understand the decision well enough that the right next step becomes clear.
